In a joint venture, the Lake Village Police Department and Phoenix Youth Opportunity submitted a grant application for a Neighborhood Outreach Center through the Arkansas Department of Economic Development.  Out of many applicants, Lake Village was the only city awarded this grant.

Actual construction began in early Fall at the Luna Street & Chicago Boulevard location. The facility will house a Lake Village Police Department Substation and the Phoenix Youth Opportunity services. To learn more about the Phoenix Youth Opportunity, click here to visit their website
