The Lake Village Community Fishing Lake
The newest addition to the Lake Village Park facilities is the Lake Village Community Fishing Lake located on Highway 82 W. across from the Lakeside Public Schools. Lake Village partnered with the University of Pine Bluff, the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission and the Biological Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey to bring this recreational facility to our community.
The 5 acre pond, which is stocked with channel catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill, is open to anglers 16 years and younger and to senior citizens 65 years and older. Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. April 1st through September 30th and 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. October 1st through March 31st.
Covered pavilions and grills are are available for family and group activities.
Community Fishing Lake Activities:
**Tackle loaner program at the Lake Village Public Library. Fishing poles are available for check out for those who do not own fishing equipment.
**Small group fishing trips and clinics
**Lake Village annual fishing derby sponsored by the Lake Village Police Department.
**"Hooked on Fishing, Not On Drugs" program has been adopted by the Lakeside School district.

Rules & Regulations
1. Adults must accompany children under the age of 12
2. Angler must reside in the 71653 zip code area
3. Each angler may take home up to 25 bluegill and 3 channel catfish.
4. All bass must be released
5. No minnows are allowed as bait.
