Lake Village is governed by a Mayor and six City Council members, each representing a Ward. The Mayor serves a four-year term while City Council members serve a two-year term. The Mayor and City Council meet monthly on the first Tuesday of each month. Any citizen wishing to address the city council about a new topic, concern, or comment at a regularly scheduled city council meeting must complete a citizens communication card before 12 Noon the day before the regularly scheduled meeting.
